Helen Wilson
Owner and Lead Designer Having worked for the family gardening business in Sussex Helen went on to graduate from Greenwich University in 2005 with a BA (hons) Garden Design and since then has designed spaces ranging from small plots and suburban family gardens to large country houses, parks and landscapes across the UK and abroad. Helen's designs reflect the needs of the client. By using plants and hard landscaping she creates the texture, structure and seasonal fascination of a beautifully designed space. Gardens should sit comfortably within their surroundings and Helen tends to work as much as possible with the characteristics of the home to create a space that fits seamlessly with you and your family's lifestyle. Helen works with a variety of landscapes and styles, contemporary or classic, large or small but always with a punch of floral or architectural exuberance! Helen works in collaboration with landscapers, architects, gardeners, surveyors and designers to achieve carefully crafted gardens. JOHN BARNES
Design Consultant In 2010, John gained a BA (Hons) Degree in Landscape Architecture at Kingston University and has since been working as a landscape architect and garden designer on projects with varying scales and levels of complexity across the UK, Middle East, and North America. John is a well versed ‘all-rounder’ and enjoys working on concept designs through to preparing comprehensive detailed design documentation. John carries out a design consultant role and his area of expertise involves making sure that every concept design is translated into a precise suite of detailed design drawings to assist with the construction process under Helen’s lead; ensuring the seemingly smallest of details do not get lost in translation and the design overall is always ‘on-brief’, fit for purpose and stunning. The team possess sound combined construction knowledge, and every Client can be assured that their garden design is built as effectively as possible according to site specific needs and discerning Client requirements. |

Jessica Turner
Studio Assistant Jess is a highly organised and experienced Manager in Finance and has worked for many years at a blue-chip IT company with teams and customers across Europe, Middle East, Asia and USA. Jess has always had a love for gardening and nature which started from an early age and has fond memories of planting and picking tomatoes with her Granddad in the greenhouse, and now enjoys looking after her own garden at home. This has inspired Jess to make a change in career and pursue her passion by enrolling onto the HND in Horticulture & Garden Design at the British Academy of Garden Design, and is thrilled to join the team at Helen Rose Wilson Garden Design as Studio Admin. Jess takes care of the studio and enables the smooth delivery of beautiful gardens making sure you, the client, are looked after throughout the whole process. |
